Time To Update “The List”
My spring ritual is to update THE LIST. It is all of that vital info that tells our loved ones who to call and what to do if the unthinkable happens.
Updating the list is as easy as following the template found at the bottom of this email. I keep a printed and electronic version with all of my estate planning documents.
Bring Estate Documents Up To Date
I know that the mere mention of “estate planning” makes most people’s eyes glaze over. For me, it is what I love to do and make simple for my clients.
There are many reasons to get to it now instead of a quick trip to “I’ll Get To That Later Land.”
- Birth of a newborn
- Planning advice for an elderly relative or friend who seems increasingly fragile
- Life’s Transitions: divorce, marriage or the loss of a loved one
- Instructions for the care of a special needs sibling or child
- Protecting an adult child in a difficult relationship or circumstance
Still not sure what to put on the list… we’re here to help, give us a call at 201.488.4644.
